Saturday, April 2 will be the inaugural Washington University in St. Louis Chemistry Tournament (WUCT). This competitive tournament is open to high school students and is completely run by Washington University undergraduate students. Students from across the US will participate in a series of chemistry exams at Washington University, take part in engaging activities, and be rewarded at an awards ceremony in the evening.

Tuesday, April 28, we will have our annual student awards banquet followed by a scientific talk. The banquet will take place at 6:00 PM at the Moonlite Bar-B-Q Inn in Owensboro, KY. Immediately folllowing the dinner we will meet at Hahn Center for the Sciences, Room 106, on the campus of Kentucky Wesleyan College. Our speaker will be Kyle Wilson. Dr. William Carroll will be giving the talk "The Chemistry Enterprise: Do We Have a Future, or What" on Thursday, February 19 at 5 PM on the UE campus in Koch Center 101. A campus map can be found here: https://www.evansville.edu/campusmap/
Dr. Carroll was the President of the American Chemical Society in 2005. He is currently Vice President for Industry Issues at Occidental Chemical Corporation as well as an Adjuncct Professor of Chemistry at Indiana University.
