Tuesday, April 28, we will have our annual student awards banquet followed by a scientific talk. The banquet will take place at 6:00 PM at the Moonlite Bar-B-Q Inn in Owensboro, KY. Immediately folllowing the dinner we will meet at Hahn Center for the Sciences, Room 106, on the campus of Kentucky Wesleyan College. Our speaker will be Kyle Wilson. Kyle is finishing his PhD at Notre Dame and will begin his teaching career at Kentucky Wesleyan College in the fall. The title of his talk is: "The development of metal-mediated methodologies for the syntheses of potential heteroatom-activated antibiotics and enzyme inhibitors."
